Minimalist House
The house itself embodies elements of a theory that achieves the use of simplicity to bring out the best possible design. That theory, to what is known as minimalism, limits the design of the house to a strict set of five elements that must be followed in order to be considered to what is known as a minimalist house. Five elements that at the most represents simplicity through: simple form and function; uncomplicated claddings and wall finishing; clean, open and light filled spaces; simple detailing, and a strategic use of materials. This project displays two mediums to which I am able to convey upon: the first a computer-aided design layout to the floor plans of the house and the second being a maquette displaying the structure of the house.
